LAMINATED PLYWOOD

Anıl Laminated Plywood , High pressure laminate or HPL is the direct residue of the original plastic laminate. It is considered one of the most durable decorative surface materials and has special performance characteristics such as chemical, fire and wear resistance. Special classes of HPL can be shaped around curved edges by applying heat and restriction. HPL is produced by saturating multilayer kraft paper with phenolic resin. A printed decor paper is placed on kraft paper before printing. The resulting sandwich fused under heat and pressure. Phenolic and melamine resins are thermoset plastics, the curing process converts the resin into plastic by crosslinking, which converts the% sheet paper into a single, hard laminated sheet. Moset creates strong and irreversible bonds that contribute to its durability.
